As the beloved host of the children's show, Steve was the amiable dog-parent to Blue, a spotted dog with a penchant for leaving clues around their home. But after 100 episodes, Steve left for college and let his on-screen brother Joe take over. And while Donovan Patton's Joe was a serviceable host, people couldn't help but wonder about the real reason Steve Burns left Blue's Clues.
