Japanese town begins erecting barrier to block Mt. Fuji view | AFP
A Japanese town on Tuesday began mounting a large mesh barrier at a popular viewing spot for Mount Fuji in an attempt to deter tourists from taking photos. Workers began attaching black netting measuring 2.5 by 20 metres (eight by 65 feet) to metal poles along the pavement opposite the much-photographed convenience store Tuesday morning.
