H4 1.5 inch Mini projector Headlight bulb tired and tested.

Hi this videos is about H4 1.5 inch Mini projector Head light bulb's Performance, installation, wiring and its Pros and cons..

This bulb 1.5 inch Mini projector was in my mind for long time and very eager to test it because, this bulb is designed entirely in a different way to solve the problem of retrofitting, No Need to open the head light housing , No cutting, No Fixing difficulties etc...

Projector like performance output with easy simple plug and play...

To start from quality, as all we know it is cheep so we cannot expect a nice built for this price, it is Good.

The GREEN BOX 1.5 inch projector was ordered FIRST, the Quality was Good, the cutoff shield are less shaky and properly covered no exposed copper winding wires.
I experimented with Led bulb instead of HID, for that i drilled a wide hole for brighter light output unfortunately i did not get the result.

Now the second set ( WHITE BOX) the quality was not good but it dose its purpose.

Pros ( Positive + ) points about this bulb

1) Almost near equal light output (70%) as Projector (FXR etc...)
2) Good light out put when compared to Halogen.
Good Light spread NO black spot as we see in LED bulbs.
3) Consumes only 55 watts.
4) Surprisingly No Humming Noise from the ballast..

Cons ( Negative -)

1) The size its almost twice the size of Halogen bulb
2) Need to remove the glare shield, found in the headlight, it is not a easy task. You can simply pull it off by cutting and take it out but when you like to put back halogen or led it will create glare on opposite vehicle

3) Heat is above 120'c
4) The cut off shield (used to create High and Low beam ) is very loose and shaky, ( not a main issue)
5) Need little bit of wiring
6) Take some time (seconds ) to light up the road.( most of the HID have this problem). So flashing is not possible
