Forgiveness and Reconciliation in the Extreme: Father Ubald Rugirangoga at TEDxJacksonHole
Father Ubald survived the 1994 Rwandan genocide of the Tutsi people where one million people were killed in 90 days. He lost 80 members of his own family and 45,000 of his congregation. He is renowned for bringing healing, forgiveness, peace, and reconciliation to all people in Rwanda, Burundi, Congo and beyond.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
