Saint Helen resident John Bawol shares why MidMichigan Health is his go-to place for orthopedic care. After experiencing hip discomfort, Bawol had X-rays ordered by his primary care provider and sent to Orthopedic Surgeon Patrick Morse, M.D. When physical therapy didn’t resolve the issue, Dr. Morse ordered more in-depth tests. The results showed bone-on-bone in Bawol's left hip and hip replacement surgery was scheduled. Since surgery, he's regained his range of motion and has been able to enjoy his active lifestyle.
