Light meter problem Nikkormat FT3 (maybe corroded wires)

The light meter did not work in this old Nikkormat FT3 because of a corroded wire and the battery contact.
I I thought it was only bad in one end of the wire, but to my surprise it was also corroded in the other end on the circuit board and that's why there was no connection to the battery or the lighter meter.
