🌺🌿 We Discovered AMAZING Wild Orchids and Carnivorous Plants in Florida! 🔍🦟

This was a very fun little roadside adventure! We've been dying to get out and try hunting for wild orchids ever since we accidentally stumbled up on one while fossil hunting. We set out to a pine forest upland environment here in Florida that we thought had promise and it paid off with not only multiple types of orchids, but also fantastic carnivorous plants. This is just the beginning of our exploration of this type of environment. There are incredibly rare birds, animals and plants that we'd like to see and capture on camera for you all.

We also will be doing a lot more of these types of vids. For us, this is a treasure hunt no different from fossil hunting, rock hunting or foraging for food. It is all about getting in the outdoors and exploring, no matter what it is.

Also, I believe passionately that one of the biggest ways we can make a difference in people's relationship with nature and the planet is to inspire them to go outside into it. It's why I make these videos. Seeing and appreciating the world around it, whether it is from a video like this or by getting outside into it yourself, is incredibly good for mental health, for physical health and it's important to the health of these environments to see and learn about them. There's a bigger picture going on to most of what we do here and you guys will see it start to take shape in time if you continue following along.
