🌪️ Mysterious Mist Tornadoes & Scuba Diving at NIGHT in FL for Fossils! 🐊🤿

What an UNREAL expedition on the river at night here in Florida! I absolutely love going out at night and seeing things that people rarely ever see. This adventure had all kinds of things that are almost never seen in the daylight.

Humans tend to have an aversion to the night/dark under the misconception that it is far more dangerous and scary. While there was a time when that was the case in our (pre)history, nowadays, things are relatively safe in the day or night. This started out as us accidentally getting out too late in the day and deciding we'd just do a night dive instead; that turned out to be a great decision for reasons we didn't yet know and it left us unable to leave the river even after the sun came up.

Also, please note: filming video at night, especially in this situation, is extremely difficult. The lower the light, the worse the video stabilization and image quality is. Many years ago, capturing any of this night time footage would have been impossible. The camera lenses we used here are extremely good in low light, but it is still pushing it to the limits. As such, you were notice some grainy, shaky footage in places, especially places where the main illumination of the shot is light bouncing from a flashlight off of fog/clouds. This is the only way to share this experience with you guys at the moment, but we may experiment with other techniques in the future that may lead to better quality (much larger lights).
