Getting a Keratin Treatment! Everything You Should Know

Follow me along as I show you the process of getting a keratin treatment!

Type of keratin used: Peter Coppola Keratin Treatment

Key Notes:
-Make sure the keratin is formaldehyde-free

-Use hair products that are free of sulfates and sodium chloride post treatment

-Keratin can last anywhere from 3 months to a year depending on how often you wash it/how you treat your hair

-For the first 3 days, do not get your hair wet or tie with a hair band. Wetting the hair will not allow the keratin to hold, and you don't want to tie your hair because you will cause an indent!

-Your hair will be pin straight before the first wash, but this does not mean it will remain this way! After the first wash you'll see your natural hair texture come back, just frizz-free!
