Rooting Fig Cuttings | Rooting in the Summer using the “Traditional Method”

The easiest way to root fig cuttings in the summer without problems. The “traditional method” of rooting protects the cuttings from the sun and high temperatures, conserves moisture, and guarantees a good plant development.
The plants can be potted up after a few months or they can be left until the autumn to grow a bit more before removing them from the soil.
Rooting indoors with other rooting methods with high temperatures is usually a problem because the combination of moisture and heat leads to the development of mold. That problem doesn’t exist when rooting outdoors with this rooting method.

This propagation method can be used for most types of plants that root well from cuttings.
