San Diego is one of the most expensive cities in America, with a typical home value of over $900,000 according to data from Zillow.

But that's just the typical price. To get a nice house you probably have to shell out close to $1.5 million and pay over $8,000/month for your mortgage payment.

Even at those crazy prices, inventory in San Diego is still low, which is putting a floor on prices in the 2023 Housing Downturn and preventing them from dropping further.
