Messerschmitt Me 262 A1aU3 Werk Nummer 500453

This airplane is beyond special. She's one of only 9 original Me 262's out there and she is the only one that can run her engines. The other 8 have been in museums for 6-7 decades and have not been operated at all. This one has been privately owned and maintained. She recently got a 15 year restoration including rebuilding the motors. The restoration was completed in 2019 and she was doing taxi tests prior to a flight test program when her benefactor passed away. The airplane has been in this museum ever since.
The Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum in Everett Washington.

"On The Road With Norm" is about travelling with friends and family and investigating history with passion. We like pretty much anything with an engine. Come along for the ride. Leave a comment. Please help out with a LIKE and SUBSCRIBE. It would help very much thanks.
