What’s up my luvs

Mixing things up with this new super random cover. I got this comment from an Instagram follower, and went to check this song out. never heard this artist before.. but thought it was edgy and decided it’ll be a nice change of pace. I wanted to do something different and added this mini drum solo in the bridge, I think it came out kinda cool, though I was obsessing over it way longer than I planned to. As always.

Not sure about the drum mix on this one.. Its possible my snare mic was sitting in a weird way (cause I ripped a rubbery piece that’s holding it in place while playing) but on the bright side, I think I officially got everything dialed in with my sleek new gear zzounds.com sent me, so things should sound much smoother moving forward and right in time for Unsainted! 👌

Meanwhile, working on a new shop, new designs, used and new Meytal sticks, a new trucker hat, and some other cool items. This will be the 5-year anniversary from my first original album Alchemy and will also happen to be my b-day on August 9th. Wait for it. Wait for it. I’ll be 37!!!!!! yes. 37. I was planning on doing a limited edition double vinyl release. Although I’m still trying to piece it together and not doing a great job to tell you the truth. I was also hoping to produce a new original by then, there’s an amazing demo already in place but I’ve been particularly weird and sluggish in the last week or so. So don’t hold me to it. Yay for being dysfunctional. I’ll keep you guys posted.
