What’s up my angelic sesame seeds

Been MIA - big time. moving to a new house after 13 years in my mini hobbit apartment, and it’s consuming my entire existence.. furniture buying and decorating is breaking my brain a little but its honestly a major step up so I’m thankful for it. Pretty sure I’ve lost any drum chops I may have had but hoping I can get it back pretty quick.

Meanwhile...
Gojira is upon us. Inefficiently enough, I actually shot this cover twice, once here and another time alone with a tripod the day after. After examination of all 17 takes I decided to go with take number 3 of day 1 🙄 it’s not super awesome for a few reasons. 1. My hair got stuck real good to my face THE ENTIRE SHOOT. 2. I was way too focused on the drum part, I really could have used a bit more practice before going for it, I didn’t remember well enough the structure of the song, so I look somewhat dead inside.. that’s usually the side effect of me focusing too hard. and 3. The skirt.. I give it a 3 out of 100 for the most pleasing outfit award.

Anyhow. As a whole, we have another Gojira cover. can’t reeeeally go wrong with a Gojira cover. there’s something super uplifting about this band, despite the hardcore-ness of it all. And "When you change yourself you change the world” might be the best line ever written.

So yeah, enjoyyy. More smiles next time.
