I explore the maximum and minimum ranges of the Hikvision Mini PTZ Security Camera. I setup the camera in my yard and show the full extents of the right and left panning ability. I follow this with a series of tilts from 0-90. When zoomed out, the pan and tilt move faster than zoomed in. I update the speed setting in the camera’s web interface and time each and show the results in a table. I show the zoom abilities from 4x (optical zoom) all the way up to 64x (digital zoom). Lastly, I play with the zoom speed setting and show how fast speed 3 moves the optics.
