One more day in the 70s before colder temperatures return to Charlotte

Morning rain is moving out. Clouds and fog will follow behind it leading to a brighter day and the warmest day of the week before the big drop this weekend.

Wednesday:
Windy and mild, still with highs in the low to mid-70s. Skies will be sunny and turning very dry as a second cold front swings through the area by evening. Temperatures will fall quickly after sunset as much colder air moves in, with lows dropping to the mid-30s by Thanksgiving morning.
