Carpio maintains truthfulness of column baring 'bitter divide' in PH team on China arbitration case

Dateline Philippines: Retired Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonio Carpio denies he is trying to tarnish the legacy of late President Benigno Aquino III when he bared in a column that Aquino's advisers were 'bitterly divided' on the arbitration case against China in 2013. Justice Francis Jardeleza accused Carpio of lying. But Carpio insists the contents of that controversial column were based on a book containing a one-on-one interview with former President Aquino.
