Trump hilariously takes credit for IOC banning transgender athletes from women’s category
US President Donald Trump claims the International Olympic Committee's decision to restrict female events to biologically female athletes is due to his administration's actions on the issue.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, the President said the decision only happened "because of my powerful Executive Order, standing up for Women and Girls".
The IOC has now ruled only biological females, confirmed through genetic screening, can compete in women’s events.
