General Jack Keane: I ‘know for a fact’ we have the attention of the Iranian regime
Former US Army vice chief of staff General Jack Keane believes the United States has the “attention” of the Iranian regime with the current blockade in the Strait of Hormuz.
“I think this leverage that we have over the Iranian distribution of oil is really quite significant,” Mr Keane told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“I know for a fact that it has got their attention, and I suspect they are going to make a deal.
“We said ‘enough is enough’, we gave you an opportunity to make a deal with us … now we are shutting down your oil.”
