Песня Стахановское племя - Song Of The Stakhanovite Unit (English Lyrics)

"Song of the Stakhanovite Unit" or simply "the Stakhanovite Song" is a Soviet labour and patriotic song written for the 1936 film "A Great Life". Under the leadership of Iosef Stalin heroes were made of dutiful Soviet workers who worked harder and for longer periods of time to overfulfill the five-year plan quotas. One of these dutiful workers was Alexy Stakhanov, a Soviet miner from Donetsk. A hero was made of Stakhanov and Soviet miners were encouraged to embody the Stakhanovite spirit for the benefit of their country and socialism.
