Simon Fraser University Pipe Band's Friday Medley at the 2019 Worlds

This is Simon Fraser University Pipe Band under the direction of Pipe Major Alan Bevan and Leading Drummer J Reid Maxwell playing in the Grade One competition at the RSPBA's World Pipe Band Championships. The Grade One competition was held over two days of competition when all competing bands had to play two March, Strathspey and Reel sets and two Medleys.

This is the band's Friday medley comprising the following tunes:

Andrew and Colin Lee, Angus John MacNeil of Barra, Catlodge, Hasten and Come with Me, Greyfriar's Julie, Balmoral Castle, and The Rookery

Simon Fraser University Pipe Band was placed sixth in this particular heat, with a first place awarded by the Drumming Judge. The band took first place in the Saturday medley and finished in fifth place overall .
