In this video I explained Typhoid fever.

Typhoid fever caused by salmonella typhi or salmonella paratyphi bacteria,

This spread by faecal-oral route means by excreta.Excreta may contaminate water may spread this bacteria.Contamination of hand from excreta may spread this bacteria by what you eat or drink.Flies may be spread this bacteria by contact with excreta.
(excreta means toilet)

Problem is diagnosis of this Fever.Unlike malaria,chikungunia,dengue etc fever their diagnosis is done by clinically with immediate lab report but diagnosis of typhoid takes time.Widal test positive after 1st week.

Treatment consist of antibiotic therapy for 2 week.Cephalosporin & fluoroquinolone groupnof medicines used.

In some patient may may reoccur within few days of treatment then antibiotics for 4 week suggested.

In any disease prevention is easy then treatment so take care about it.
