CSS&SB eastbound pacing Michigan City street running

NICTD 35 leads South Shore train 7 eastbound on the 11th Street street running in downtown Michigan City, Indiana. In this unique pacing video, we follow the train from its "take off" in the middle of 11th Street at the downtown Michigan City stop through the S curve and the hill up to US-20. The street running would last another 12+ years before being formally shut down for large scale realignment and replacement at the end of February, 2022. But back on 12-21-2009, it's just another train out of the city.
