Ben Hammond is a Yorkshire based Sound Engineer who is currently mixing Front of House for Skunk Anansie. On this show he takes us through his show file and explains how he mixes drums for the British rock band. He talks us through parallel compression, EQ, groups and fx. In this series he is joined by Adam Boole FOH Engineer for Bullet For My Valentine. The next episodes in the series take us through mixing guitars and vocals for Skunk Anansie.
Ben uses an Allen & Heath dLive as his console of choice and explains how the workflow helps to achieve his desired mix with the use of the extensive onboard dynamics and FX.
