Is it true that you cannot rely on Korean sunscreen?

Creators are now comparing a viral Korean sunscreen with a European sunscreen using a UV camera, concluding you should not trust Korean sunscreen.
Here are my comments:
When I moved to Japan at 17, I was shocked by how seriously they take staying out of the sun. Japanese, like Koreans, are vigilant about keeping their skin undamaged.
Hence, sunscreen is abundantly available, high quality, and often reasonably priced.
But what I noticed is that Japanese and Korean women focused on health and beauty take things a step further.
THEY DON'T RELY ON SUNSCREEN. Instead, they:
• Wear hats
• Wear visors [full face coverage]
• Wear UV clothing
• Carry an umbrella
On my first days in Japan, on a fashion shoot, an assistant was sent to literally hold an umbrella over my face all day except when shooting. I felt embarrassed and initially wanted to stop her as it seemed extreme.
But it was her job to care for me. I respected this and learned to be cautious of the sun.
Years later, I do not trust any sunscreen, whatever the brand. I trust myself to not be in the sun, and it works.
Even top Asian dermatologists comment that my skin is freakishly good ‘for a western person.’ These Drs are tough to please, I assure you.
So, it's not about distrusting Korean sunblock.
It's a question of lifestyle. If you are serious about slow aging, staying out of the sun is essential.
The sun stresses your skin and damages it inside out, like stress.
