Some subscibers requested me a way to approach baseball stitch pattern overlapping french seams on the edge of a car seat cover (seat cushion and backrest).
In fact, the challenge consists in replicating the basic baseball stitch used for steering wheels.
Cross stitching pattern, slanted stitching patterns, etc. would be much easier to perform, because I would just interlace a long strip of leather through the holes done aside the edges until creating the desired pattern that overlaps the french seams.
I have found a way to do it. Of course, it can be improved to personal taste.
Besides, I have realized this custom designs is used to decorate some luxurious car seats.
