A few days before Luke's birthday we were eating outside underneath our big old oak tree and a swarm of wasps invaded our peaceful lunch and made it pretty impossible to enjoy our meal, that is when Luke realized that we had a problem and had to do something about it before the parties and so began his wasp trapping experiment .It worked well and we had no unwelcome visitors at either of the parties.
I made a piñata for one of the parties and because we forgot to smash it at the first party we smashed it during the second one and I feel it smashed after a good number of hits so piñata was a success. Luke finished off the vermicomposting toilet so our guests ,one in particular would not have to squat 😉.
