AliBaba (BABA) Stock Down 34% - Time To Buy BABA Stock @ $209 Or Wait?

Today we look at #AliBaba #BABA #Stock - which just reported its Q1 numbers. We take a look at the revenue and the profit this company generated in the quarter. Overall, it was a strong quarter for Alibaba stock - however the government hit them with a fairly massive fine which swung their earnings from positive $10B (RMB) to a negative $7.6B RMB. We assume this will be a one time occurrence, considering how iconic Alibaba is in its country, the government won’t want to pile on even more fines…. But we’ll see. Alibaba stock is down 34% from the highs it made in the past year - and the stock is only up about 10% over the past year, which really makes it one of the worst performing mega cap stocks in the stock market considering the massive gains we’ve seen from Amazon, Google, and other megacap stocks. We discuss if the $209 price level where Alibaba is today a good area to buy the stock - or if you can wait for a lower price.
