Girl Suffers Horrendous Injuries After Sliding Down Thai Mountain

This girl's travels were cut short after a stream of water swept her away causing her to tumble down the mountainside where she suffered these gruesome injuries. After finding out her ex-boyfriend had cheated on her, Ellie Brotherton, 28, decided to quit her job and book a six-month-long trip around South-East Asia, where a trek to see a stunning view of Thailand went horribly wrong. The full-time make-up artist, from Essex, and her pal decided to go against a local's directions and begin to trek up a concrete road surrounded by jungle when it began to pour it down with rain. The heavy rain created a water stream along the concrete road and Ellie thought it may be funny to sit in as a joke. However, disaster struck when the water quickly swept her away and launched her down the side of a mountain where she cracked her skull open and is now partially deaf in one ear.
