Full Tour Fort Santiago & Dungeons Inside Intramuros, Manila

A complete walking tour of Fort Santiago located inside Intramuros, Manila. It is open daily from 8am to 11pm. The ticket booth at the entrance only sell tickets until 9pm. Fees are Php50 ($1) for children and students, Php75 ($1.50) for adults.

Tip: Visit the administration office to get your free map of Fort Santiago and Intramuros. It is located on the left side near the entrance gate along with the souvenir shops, cafes and restrooms. Bring a bottle of water and an umbrella just in case it rains. Restrooms near the entrance is very clean and new with air conditioning. Best time to go is late in the afternoon, so that you can see the beauty of the place during day time and night time.

Fort Santiago was built in 1593 as a citadel built by Spanish navigator and governor Miguel López de Legazpi for the new established city of Manila in the Philippines. The defense fortress is part of the structures of the walled city of Manila referred to as Intramuros, this is according to a Wikipedia post.
