Shin Tae-yong Kembali Pimpin Latihan Timnas

Tim nasional Indonesia menjalani laga internal game pada pemusatan latihan (TC) di Stadion Madya, Senayan, Jumat (7/5) malam. Internal game ini menjadi momentum perdana pelatih Shin Tae-yong memimpin anak asuhnya di lapangan usai menjalani karantina selama lima hari.

Para pemain dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yakni  mengenakan jersey biru dan satu lagi jersey putih. Mereka memainkan laga internal game selama 2x35 menit dengan hasil 1-0 untuk kemenangan tim biru lewat gol Kadek Agung.

Pelatih Shin Tae-yong mengatakan bahwa saat ini kondisinya sehat dan bugar. Ia pun sangat senang kembali melatih langsung Evan Dimas dan kawan-kawan di lapangan.

Skuat Garuda masih menjalani TC di Jakarta sebelum berangkat ke Uni Emirat Arab (UEA) pada 17 Mei mendatang.

Indonesia akan melawan Thailand pada 3 Juni, lalu Vietnam 7 Juni, dan terakhir UEA pada 11 Juni. AFC sebelumnya telah memilih UEA sebagai lokasi sentralisasi lanjutan Kualifikasi Piala Dunia untuk Grup G.

Sementara itu, Ketua Umum PSSI, Mochamad Iriawan mengatakan bahwa para pemain yang mengikuti TC ini merupakan pilihan pelatih Shin Tae-yong. Ia pun berharap para pemain terus bekerja keras demi hasil maksimal di laga Kualifikasi Piala Dunia Grup G.

Selain menjalani tiga pertandingan Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2022, skuat Garuda juga akan melakukan dua laga uji coba melawan Afghanistan (25/5) dan Oman (29/5).

In September 2019, PSSI officially submits Indonesia bid as the host of the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2021 and Indonesia competed with Peru, Brazil, and three Arab countries (Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates).

With the prayers, efforts, supports, and cooperation of all parties especially Indonesian football fans. On 24 October 2019, Indonesia was officially chosen to host the 2021 FIFA U-20 World Cup. It was officially announced by President of FIFA, Mr. Gianni Infantino in Shanghai, China.

It is such an honor for PSSI can show how beautiful Indonesia is to the world and get international public trust especially FIFA to become the host country of the 2021 FIFA U-21 World Cup and it’s the first time for Indonesia.

In Indonesia, football is also one of thing that unites us all because 77% of Indonesian people are categorized as football enthusiast. In the total population, Indonesia is the biggest football enthusiast in the world. From this, we invite all Indonesian people to work together, give a great image for Indonesia to be the great host country and memorable event, not only for Indonesia but also for all athletes and football fans from all over the world.
