The video I wish I watched before buying a Shelix (video version 2)

THIS IS A NEW AND COMPLETELY UPDATED VIDEO. Thanks to everyone who watched the first version and provided feedback, whether positive or negative. This remake is my way of thanking you for your support.

Background:
I installed a new Byrd Shelix cutterhead in my DeWalt DW735 thickness planer, and I learned some important things in the process. My mistake is already made, but hopefully this video helps you avoid making the same one. If you find the information helpful, please take a few minutes to watch some of my other videos to help support the channel.

I also have an Instagram page where I post pictures of things I build:

Materials
Nobody sponsored this video, but I won't hold that against them. In case anyone is wondering:

The Shelix cutterhead is made by Byrd Tool (https://www.byrdtool.com/)

I bought the DeWalt DW735 and DW735X (comes with extra knives and feed tables) from Lowe's in 2016, and Home Depot in 2020.

The Klein CL800 clamp meter was from Home Depot.

I filmed using a Samsung Galaxy S10 phone at 4k 60 FPS.

The audio was mostly recorded using a Rode Wireless Go with a Rode lavalier microphone, and also Rode VideoMic Me for the noise-level comparison.

The video editing was done with CyberLink PowerDirector 19 (365).

The computer is a Dell XPS 8930 with a 6-core i7 8700, 32 Gb or RAM, and a GeoForce GTX 1070, and it still sounded like an airplane taking off while it was processing 45Gb of raw footage into this 11Gb finished product.

If you want to see an internal view of how a circuit breaker trips and understand a little better how the results of the power tests were even possible on a 20 amp circuit, I'd recommend this video on the @mjlorton channel: https://youtu.be/Cq55tbLtnlg, or look up "circuit breaker trip curve."
