Ballater Pipe Band playing on the march starting Beating Retreat after 2023 Ballater Games #shorts
#shorts video showing Drum Majors leading Ballater & District Pipe Band playing the famous Scottish tune "Cock o' the North" as they started Beating Retreat on Thursday 10th August 2023 after Ballater Highland Games.
The band are led by Drum Majors Ian Esson and Fiona Glennie, together with Pipe Major James Cooper. The band, who wear Ancient hunting Robertson tartan, were marching on Ballater Green in the centre of Ballater, where crowds had gathered after the Games.
