Minnesota Twins baseball fans may not have a lot to cheer about lately, but they do long for the late '80s and early '90s when it won two World Series titles. One of the most celebrated players of the time was center fielder Kirby Puckett. Puckett was influential in both of the Twins' World Series wins and is the team's all-time leader in career hits, runs, and total bases. At the time of his retirement, his batting average of .318 was the highest by a right-handed batter since Joe DiMaggio.
