Cedar Strip Canoe Project
The "S. S. Julie" is finally finished. It only took me 9 short months to complete. Better late than never. She's 16 1/2 feet long and weighs 70 pounds. The strips are mostly Western Red Cedar. The decks and accent strips are made from Aspen and Mahogany. The gunwales, yoke and seats are made from Ash. The video is a little long so if you want to see if she floats fast forward to the 6:30 mark.
