I engineered this PID tuning rig for my custom drone using an old camera tripod and a few custom 3D-printed parts.

Rather than buying a dedicated tuning stand, I designed an adapter plate that connects directly to the drone frame and a clamping base that secures the rig during testing.

The result is a low-cost PID tuning setup that allows safe bench testing and doubles as a display stand when not in use.
