Happy Pride Month! Even though this 80s romcom starring Kim Cattrall and Andrew McCarthy was a huge hit, it’s mostly remembered for being pretty bad. But with its high camp sensibilities, beloved gay character, and massive amounts of queer subtext and coding -- does this ostensibly straight movie actually deserve to be a queer cult classic? Let's explore the basics of queer film theory through a ridiculous movie about a time-travelling mannequin!
