Making an Elder Wand (Alder) Start to Finish.

This was a fun little project. I call this the "Alder Wand". It's my own take on Professor Dumbledore's famous "Elder Wand"... but quite a bit different actually. I'm more partial to this wand. It turned out just amazing! There's a little of everything in here... woodturning tips, carving using a dremmel, relaxing time lapse video, guitars, goofin', serousness.

Don't worry, it starts rocking about half way through... And, for those of you who like the thrill of the hunt, there's an Easter egg in there for you (promo code for my Etsy store).

The woodturning on this was both fun and a challenge as it occurred over a 2 day period. Lots of fun though!

There are many ways this could be done. This is only one of them... my own way.
