With pandemics and apocalyptic news threatening our livelihood and scary forecasts in the hyperventilating, over-the-top media, preparedness and self-sufficiency are on people's minds. It is a real concern. You can grow food for you and your family on a typical suburban lot, even if you start now. Better late than never, better now than in a few months. We must survive in the suburbs, and survival gardening is, in any small sense, something you can actually do! You have no excuse if you end up without food in our day of free, online education. Here is a motivational talk along with some good advice on how you can make real food, starting now, for your family. It will be especially appreciated if, in three months, food is hard to get.
