Democrats 'screaming mad' at Roger Stone's commuted sentence

The Democrats are “screaming mad” about US President Donald Trump commuting the prison sentence of former advisor Roger Stone, according to Sky News host James Morrow.

Mr Stone was accused of obstructing the US House of Representatives intelligence committee after giving false information to those investigating whether Russia interfered in the 2016 US presidential election.

He was initially sentenced to 40 months in prison earlier this year.

“These are the same Democrats that had no problem when Barack Obama was pardoning terrorists and Chelsea Manning and people like that,” Mr Morrow said.

“The left of the Democrats tried to get him (Roger Stone) on witness tampering charges around the Russia investigation.

“Which turned out to be a phony hoax attempt by the left to remove Trump from office.”
