VLOG: Road prep for COTA (Part 1) - Repairing Super Cub damage

Today is road prep day for my trip up to Austin to moto-camp at COTA for the MotoGP races. Unfortunately, the Super Cub already has some battle scars that need to be repaired before I hit the road. Skip to the end of the description for clickable time indexes.

Someone, who shall remain nameless (for now), dropped my shiny new toy and caused about $500 in damages. The story told to me was that it slipped off of the center stand and went down on the right side. However, the damage tells a different story... it was definitely an in-motion impact and/or drop to cause this type of damage.

I ordered all of the replacement parts (except the leg shield), and those should be arriving late this week or early next week. The total repair cost at this point is ~$300 (would be over $500 if I replace the leg shield). So, today I am installing the new front brake lever, attempting to bend out the rear brake pedal, and replacing the broken CRG LS bar-end mirror.

Time indexes:
0:00 : Overview of the drop/impact damage
4:30 : Plans to put retro-reflective tape along the edge of leg shield to cover damage (didn't work out too well)
6:15 : Airhawk Cruiser Small seat pad (the Dual Sport model fits better)
7:17 : Replacing the damaged CRG LS bar-end mirror
9:45 : Reusing the OEM internal bar weight together with the CRG adapter
24:13 : Attempting to bend left-front indicator lamp back to normal position
25:36 : Replacing the bent front brake lever
34:26 : My failed attempt to bend the rear brake arm back to straight... nope!
39:22 : Moving on... Ride-On tire sealant is coming next
