If you’re simply a fan of the Amazon Prime series, then Black Noir is probably one of your favorite comic relief characters from The Boys; alongside The Deep, of course. The stoic and literally Silent Knight of The Seven is a lethal assassin, whose martial arts skills are unparalleled, and show-runner Eric Kripke found a way to lean into the tautology of his superhero name being essentially “Black Black” by… well, giving him an African-American ethnicity. Black Noir is one of the breakout characters of The Boys by far, what with his tree nut allergy and his lethal innocence; but if you’ve watched our origins video for this character, you’ll know that things are very different in the comics.
