There is nothing better than watching teenagers from the 90s wade through blood and gore using slapstick comedy. Idle Hands is a 1999 American teen horror film directed by Rodman Flender and starring Devon Sawa, Seth Green, Elden Henson, Jessica Alba, and Vivica A. Fox. The main plot revolves around Anton Tobias, a typical stoner youngster whose hand gets possessed and goes on a murdering spree after being severed from his arm. It was written by Terri Hughes and Ron Milbauer and directed by Rodman Flender.

The film title is obviously inspired by the saying we have heard parents say since we were children, "idle hands make for the devil's playthings." The film received many negative reviews and grossed around $4 million, much less than its budget of $25 million. However, I think it is time for the critics to reconsider this movie.
