For this next continuation of MacamTV’s Top Gun 3 trailer series, the editing focuses heavily on storytelling and emotional payoff. The trailer begins by showing the plot of Maverick getting a letter from the White House inviting him to serve as the President’s pilot. I structured the trailer to slowly reveal Maverick’s new life as the President’s personal pilot before plunging the audience into chaos. Carefully selected dialogue lines from Penny, Rooster, and the President guide the narrative, while soft fade-ins and cinematic cross dissolves set up the emotional tone. The color grading leans into warmer highlights and gritty shadows to emphasize the personal stakes Maverick faces when Air Force One comes under attack.
