My Trieste - Ep. 46

This video is a unique lyrical declaration of love to Trieste. For centuries the city on the upper Adriatic was under the rule of the Austrian Habsburgs until it came back to Italy after the First World War. Never before has the eventful history of this city been so captured in words, pictures and music as in the implementation of Vincenzo Delle Donne's poem "My Trieste". Poetry and film form a successful symbiosis here.
