SWFL Eagles ~ M15 Brings In Breakfast & Lunch For F23! 🐟 🐦 Eating & Mating On Snag! 11.22.23

I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving ♥ May you & your family be blessed today and throughout the year.

M15 had a busy day with stick & grass deliveries and he also brought in a bird and two fish for F23. They both spent a lot of time in the nest - taking turns testing out the nest bowl. The owls continue to visit the nest at night but M15 is spending the night in the nest more frequently in an effort to protect his nest. F23 looks like she can lay her first egg very soon!

In today's footage, M15 flies in with a white feathered bird and F23 claims it, mantles it and then flies off the nest to eat it on the snag. M15 brings in some big sticks - multi pronged ones and he lands on F23 while she is lying in the nest lol They both take turns lying in the nest and today F23 spent more time than ever before in the nest - a clear sign that she is close to laying her eggs. F23 spent some time at the pond getting sips of water and then got flushed out by a horse. While on the nest they both begin alerting and looking upwards - possibly the same visitor that will be seen on cam later in the day. M15 also brings in a headless fish and F23 takes it to the cam 2 snag and eats it. M15 will fly over to the snag and join her and they mate :) M15 flies off the snag and brings in more soft nesting material - they are getting the nest ready for those eggs! The nest looks great with all their hard work!
