4 days in Taiwan | Cinematic travel film
Despite being in Taiwan for only 4 days, we did our best to cover as much ground as possible and to experience the most of what Taiwan had to offer. It's one of my favourite asian countries to travel to because of its diverse cultures, incredible scenery and an amazing array of street food.
We first visited Yehliu Geopark, a coastal area battered by the sea and eroded by strong winds. Shifen was next on the list, with the most important task being writing our wishes on a paper lantern and then releasing it. We then made our way to Jiufen, a decommisioned mining town and navigated through the labyrinth of food stalls amidst the rain.
Though the weather in Taipei was not so great, the sun started to shine through as we traveled south toward Taichung city - surrounded by a dense mountainous area with farming plains. Here we visited Cingjing Farm, a highland veteran's farmland turned tourist attraction (which is somehow really popular with Singaporeans) and had a go at feeding the sheep. The scenic bike ride around Sun Moon Lake was breathtaking at every turn.
Here are some of the moments I have managed to capture during our trip! In this short cinematic compilation, I featured shopping streets, iconic buildings, natural wonders and of course delectable dishes from the streets!
