Dive video Beaver Cay 19 Aug 23

A rough cut of footage from my dive on 19 August 2023 at Beaver Cay, on the Great Barrier Reef, off Mission Beach, with the good folks at Mission Beach Dive. Anyone who doesn't understand why I love diving after watching this, well never get it.

Some highlights:

3.00 A very grumpy moray eel looking out from his hidey hole and telling me to bugger off
3.20 A divinely gorgeous turtle friend having some coral for lunch
7.20 The most beautiful, vibrant Giant Clam I have ever seen, maybe 50-60cm across
13.05 A clownfish and his anemone home, both getting bashed about a bit by the tidal current
14.10 A truly magnificent white-tipped reef shark, about 1.5 metres in length
14.40 Another turtle friend

And in between them, hundreds of coral formations and thousands upon thousands of fish.
