Last week, Nio stock looked to be beginning its ascent ahead of Nio day 2021, as the stock price recovered all the way up towards $47 per share. This momentum was suddenly halted when Apple announced its plans to develop a fully self-driving vehicle by 2024. This announcement potentially scared investors away from Nio stock and the other Chinese EV stocks. However, we received a prediction from Wedbush's Dan Ive's on Friday, who stated that a potential Apple and Nio partnership could be on the cards as the challenges Apple may face when entering the EV space, could be diminished by partnering with Nio or another EV company.

Another piece of good news for Nio stock was the announcement that Nio had partnered with the Chinese State EV grid to develop an additional 100 Nio battery swap stations by the end of 2021. These pieces of news for Nio could outweigh the trend we have seen developing over the past few days with the Nio stock price.

So, where will Nio stock go next week? Will Nio stock go up? Or will it go down?

Although multiple technical indicators show Nio stock next week will likely go down, investors and traders alike did not get the opportunity to show their excitement over this latest Nio news, and therefore it wouldn't surprise me if Nio next week went up...big!

Yes. I believe Nio stock will go up next week due to this latest piece of Nio news. This piece of news will ensure Nio stock begins to develop momentum early as we approach Nio day in January.

Nio stock this week was down due to an announcement by Apple that they would be entering the autonomous EV space in 2024. All Chinese EV stocks went down due to this announcement, but a potential Nio and Apple partnership may help change things for Nio stock next week.

3. "Is Nio still a good buy?
Yes. Nio stock is still a buy as the company has a solid business model and plenty of upside in the future.

4. "What are your Nio day predictions and Nio day 2021 stock predictions?"
I believe Nio day will be an incredibly exciting day for Nio investors. I have a price target for Nio day of $60, but it wouldn't surprise me if that gets surpassed.
