Cute Fussy Hedgehog Figths His Morning Medicine

I became a hedgehog foster mom just 2 weeks ago and, well, as a vegan, I was not ready to take care of a carnivore, but it is what it is. This morning ritual takes around 20 minutes including feeding time. Pino the hedgehog was diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer and he needs to take these meds indefinitely, twice a day. He's not a big fan of medicine time but loveshis towel and a playground.

I did not volunteraly purchase this animal. We found him, malnourished, on the streets of Shanghai after someone else threw him away. He's been with my friend for over a year and now he's in my care.
